IRS2301s www.irf.com ? 2009 international rectifier 3 description the IRS2301s is a high voltage, high speed power mo sfet and igbt driver with independent high- and low- side referenced output channels. proprietary hvic and latch immune cmos technologies enable ruggedized monolithic construction. the logic input is compatible with standard cmos or lsttl output, down to 3.3v logic. the output drivers feature a high pulse current buffe r stage. the floating channel can be used to drive an n- channel power mosfet or igbt in the high-si de configuration which operates up to 600v.

IRS2301s www.irf.com ? 2009 international rectifier 11 tolerability to negative vs transients the IRS2301s has been seen to withstand negative v s transient conditions on the order of -25v for a period of 100 ns (v bias (v cc , v bs ) = 15v and t a = 25c). an illustration of the IRS2301s performance can be seen in figure 4. even though the IRS2301s has been show n able to handle these negative v s transient conditions, it is highly recommended that the circuit desi gner always limit the negative v s transients as much as possible by careful pcb layout and component use. vs (v) -30 -20 -10 0 figure 4: -vs transient results
